Hailey Specialty Tools' Patented Underreamers are designed to help provide stabilization and centralization while performing the assigned job with maximum efficiency. Unlike most Underreamers in the industry, a pilot hole is not required. Due to the design of the Hailey Specialty Tools Underreamer, the pilot hole is milled with the same “trip” that the Underreamer is run. With the unique patented stabilization and centralization, the pilot stays centralized, even in a horizontal hole.
Our Underreamers offer a variety of different blade and mill configurations. Kutrite™, tungsten carbide buttons and diamonds are offered for the cutting surface. Banana blades and bottom cut blades are the two primary designs of blades offered.
